We are ECSTATIC to announce the return of Trisha Sewell to Cardiff, bringing an incredible series of workshops to share with our community.
Roots to Routes is an expedition of progression, evolution and context, allowing you to dive deeply into the interconnections between various dances from the African diaspora and how they complement one another. We will work in terms of movement and understanding rhythm, exploring how at the core of experience one finds self expression and individuality.

Saturday 18th May: 4hrs Workshops
Sunday 19th May: 4hrs Workshops
No previous jazz experience required for these workshops - attendees should be ready to dive into their own movement, rhythm and expression. Come with open minds and open hearts, ready to learn and engage.

Struggling financially? There are a limited number of Access to Dance Passes available for these workshops, enabling dancers to attend at reduced cost. Please email jessie@swingproject.co.uk for more details.
Terms & Conditions
Bookings are non-refundable unless this event is cancelled by the organiser. In the case that the event is cancelled, all attendees will be fully refunded or offered a chance to pass their booking over to a new date.
If you purchase a ticket and then cannot make the event, please let us know as we will operate a waiting list and may be able to put you in touch with someone who can take your place.
Safety Measures
As this larger event brings together so many people of all ages and health concerns from across the country, we may ask all attendees to show a negative Lateral Flow Test on first arrival at the event. Safety policy decisions will be made closer to the date and attendees will be informed. When you sign up, you are agreeing to abide by such safety requirements if they are in place. This includes those attending just the socials.
If you test positive for COVID, or display symptoms, we ask that you do not attend.
